Hey Alpha ... check out the number of "plays" of "Come from Heaven" on my iPhone/iTunes... And i think it is even really higher (it should have been reset at last reinstall i think)
Can't wait to discover the new album ! Alpha's music has been part of my life for more than 15 years now, whenever I'm melancholic, joyful or thrilled, it always accompanies me...I still feel the same emotion and excitement anytime I hear Alpha's songs, even after all these years... It's like my emotions have found their way to express...
I have to say that the new website is amazing, thank you Corin for sharing so much with us.

Hi there ! i found an old recording i made when you came in Paris (La Maroquinerie) 26 oct 2003. Last month I tried to find a copie of "Come from heaven" on vinyl. I found one for myself and this weekend another member from discogs sent me a message saying that he was willing to sell his copy for 45€ including shipping.. if someone is interested the user is: linearcutter. Cheers!

I was playing *Come From Heaven* the other day and one of my kids suddenly looks up and says "Hey, that is from Aristocats!" And sure enough it was! (Not the song itself, but the sample used in it)...So stoked about the new Album...
Good start to 2012 one of the songs from the new album has been chosen to be the end credits on a new film release!
thanks to all those who offered their services for the album artwork. Its now been done and its VERY different from the other alpha album covers and it was all done by Corin... the multi talented person he is. You will get to see sometime soon
How many copies of Stargazing LP were pressed? I've been trying to find the vinyl version of the album for a long time but it seems to be impossible to find, even used. If someone here would be willing to sell one, I'd be very interested :)
Hmmm, seems like I’m going to lose my bet again. @admin: I placed my bet under the circumstances that there were almost 200 members. After that you’ve deleted some accounts, so the number went down again more than 10. With that upcoming information I would have voted differently…
You have not lost your points as nobody voted for under 200 so you should have your points back this is why the spam registrations were removed after betting had finished as nobody was going to win. There has been a lot of problems with spam registrations in the last two weeks so we have no put in more protection during registrations. We will have to see if it works.

at the ending of the betting, the number of members at my account showed 130. How come I still lost the bet?

Yeah, it’s a good start. I’m having a bit of trouble navigating it — finding things, like how to rack up points — but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. New visitors may be a little perplexed, though. In order to be a great site (and one that will be “sticky” — that is, keep visitors returning — it’s got to be super-easy to navigate. Maybe it’s just me but I think it needs something…what that is I’m still trying to figure out.
Never mind, I found the points legend. I’ll keep my mind on what I feel this site could use, and when I post my ideas maybe others will take a look and discuss.
So far the site is good. It’ll grow and as it does just the engagement with others will self-improve the site.
Oh, and I’ll post those suggestions under Community->Groups->New Site

I think in the first poll you should put “Excellent” at the top followed by “Good” then “Could be improved” followed by “Bad” followed by “No comments”. At least, that’s how polls like these are normally done (from one end of the spectrum to the other).
